She was the daughter of W. R. and Maude (Russell) Moody. She was married to Ed Jones for 65 years who preceded her in death on November 24, 2009.

She is survived by two sons, Jarrett (Bud) and wife Betty Jones of Savannah, Tenn., Larry Jones of Little Rock, Ark.; one daughter, Linda Gravitt of Roland, Ark.; daughter-in-law, Cindy Jones of Little Rock, Ark.; one brother, Orville Moody and his wife Gerry of Bolivar, Mo.; one sister, Reda Odell and husband Rick of Caulfield, Mo.; brother-in-law, Rudell Jones of Tallahassee, Fla.; sister-in-law, Billie Moody of Dolph, Ark.; sister-in-law, Bernice Jones of Benton, Ark.; grandchildren, Tina, Teddy, Timmy, Tyson, Eric, Tammy and Geneanne; numerous great-grandchildren, great-great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews.

She always welcomed anyone into her home with a sweet smile, glass of tea and something to eat. She loved cooking, gardening, sewing, and taking care of her family and home. Never a complainer, even in hard times. She was a member of Westrock Baptist Church and the Eastern Star.

Though her family is heartbroken to lose her, they are joyful to know she is in the presence of her Lord and Savior. We were truly blessed to have her for 100 years and will miss her every day.

The family would like to extend special thanks to the nurses and staff at The Springs of Pinnacle Mountain nursing home for the care they provided to Miss Daisy.
