His wife Sally's obituary clearly says " The funeral of Mrs. Sally Osborne was held at the Gifford's Corners chapel Tuesday. Her death occurred last Sunday at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Ransome Reynolds, where she had been making her home for the past few months. The deceased was 76 years of age, and lived in this town nearly all her life. She was the widow of the late Stephen Osborne .... Interment was made in the King's Cemetery."
