As a young girl, Nancy reveled in horseback riding and fashion, two passions she never outgrew. She received a cosmetology degree as a young adult and worked as a hairdresser and for an insurance company until the birth of her children when she became a devoted mother and homemaker. Her children were her pride and joy. She also loved Country and Motown music, karaoke, dance, interior design, fashion, and having a good laugh at herself. Nancy was also a zealous lover of animals, owning multiple pets throughout her lifetime.
Most important to Nancy was her relationship with our Lord Jesus Christ. As a devoted believer she was prepared to begin her best life united with God and reunited with her lost loved ones.
Nancy was preceded in death by her daughter, Amy Albright; former husband and father of her children, Ray Albright; and her father and mother, Russell and Patricia Bates. She is survived by her son, sister, brother, two grandchildren and other nieces and great nieces and nephews.
A private memorial service will be held on January 12, 2022. A marker will be placed at Sunset Memory Gardens to honor her life, next to the markers of her daughter and the father of her children.
