Mimi was born March 1, 1948 in Broome County, NY and was the daughter of the late Kenneth Lawrence & Margaret Mary Gerken Fairchild. She was married for 42 years to Hine Simpson, Jr. who passed away in 2021. Mimi is survived by 3 daughters, seven grandchildren, four great grandchildren, a sister and a brother. Leaving this life before her was a son, Kristopher Damien Simpson, daughter, Cindy Gail Oakley, three granddaughters, Kaitlyn Shepherd, Makayla Leighanne Oakley, Mary Elizabeth Banks, three sisters, and two brothers.
