Joseph Thiry, 58 of 649 Locust street, Monessen, died in the St. Francis hospital, Pittsburgh, Monday. He had been a resident of Monessen for the past eighteen years and was employed at the Monessen plant of Pittsburgh Steel Company.
Surviving are his wife, Barbara Thiry, two sons, Frank of Detroit and Albert of Monessen, two daughters, Mrs. Mary Kusenko of Chicago, and Mrs. Eva Zippay of Charleroi, one sister, Mrs. Anna Sleck of Youngstown, Ohio and six grandchildren.
Friends will be received at the Harper Memorial Chapel, McKee avenue, Monessen. Requiem mass will be sung in . Leonard's Church, Monessen, Thursday Sept 9, 1954 at 10 a.m. and interment will following in Grandview cemetery.
