Son of Benjamin J Wood of Canada and Anna Elizabeth Lahm of Massachusetts, born in Nevada, 1876. By 1898 he was working in the Grub Gulch mining area. In 1906, he married his wife, Olive Martin, and they had 3 boys, Norman, Bennie and Roy. Like his father, he died at a young age in 1913 (age 37).
