She had lived in Jacksonville for most of her life. In 1992, she retired after 36 years with Prudential Insurance Company. She was preceded in death by her parents, Charles and Lula Baker; two brothers, Chuck and Larry Baker; and two sisters, Betty Hoops and Norva Baker. Surviving family are her husband of 56 years, Darrell Odum; son and daughter-in-law, Greg and Lynn Odum; two grandchildren, Courtney Forrester (Ryan) and Brandon Odum; sister, Alberta Streich; and brother, Jimmy Baker.
