On December 7th 1989, Margaret was killed in her home in Castro Valley, California by David Misch, a suspected serial rapist and killer. He beat her to death and stole her vehicle before he was arrested for her murder.
He was also found to have brutally killed two women in Fremont, California in 1986 and he was also responsible for kidnapping and killing a young girl in Hayward, California in 1988.
David is currently awaiting trial for the three murders besides that of Margaret. He continues to be behind bars for her murder.
