My Grandfather Edgar Cooper died around the time I entered the Navy around 1944. WWII broke out. Edgar had a peg leg around the foot area. Edgar lost his foot while working in the Saw Mill. Edgar also ran Coopers Corner. Married Grace Jones & had 3 boys.
Edgar had 2 Rental houses up on the Hill from the Store. My dad Floyd & mother Minnie lived in one.
