Sally Ann Jensen (née Loebich) , 86 of Avon, died peacefully Thursday December 29th, 2022 at her home in Sheffield Village.

She was born May 25th, 1936 in Cleveland and was raised in Avon Lake. She graduated from Avon Lake High School class of '55 and married "the love of her life" Niels Jensen and had five children. She was able to be a stay at home mom and enjoyed many camping excursions and early morning horse shows. She was always sitting in the stands yelling and cheering on her grand children no matter the season. In the little spare time that she had she enjoyed cross-stitching and reading.

Niels and Sally started Pinehaven Garden Center & Greenhouses in 1966 and continued growing the business with their two sons Bryan and Bruce Jensen. You could always find Sally, affectionally known as "Mrs. J" somewhere in the greenhouses working up until the very end with her endless energy. She always said she was just the "planter" but she was so much more.
Sally was an active member at Avon Baptist Church and was their song leader for many years. She had a strong faith in the Lord and made sure to write "God Loves You" on every hand written check. Sally was never far from her bible with her favorite scriptures underlined.

She is survived by her 5 children: Belinda (Michael) Devine, Bryan (Kim) Jensen, Bruce (Charlene) Jensen, Becky (Bruce, deceased) Davidson, and Bridget (Aaron) Corriveau; grandchildren: Amy, Matthew, Timothy, Brittney (Joe) Reising, Brett, Christopher (Karissa) Jensen, Cassandra (Ryan) Magyary, Bethany, Caden, Drake, and Ella; Great-Grandchildren: Stephen, Madalyn, Mason, Brooklin, Brynn, Reese, Wyatt, Charley, Grady, and Brodie; Sister: Bonnie Hamza; and several nieces and nephews.

Sally was preceded in death by her beloved Husband of 58 years: Niels Jensen; Parents: Ralph and Margaret (née Duffy) Loebich, and Brother: Ronald Loebich.

She was the heart beat of her family and nothing brought her more joy than the times spent with her children, grandchildren, and great grandchildren. Family was everything to her and she would never miss an opportunity to celebrate birthdays, graduations, or weddings. Sally was able to see the business that her and Niels worked so hard to begin pass on to the next generation with Chris joining as 3rd generation.

Mom is at peace and finally able to live out the greatest love story of all, to be reunited with Niels. She had a light that will be forever missed.

Family will receive friends on until time of prayer at the Misencik Funeral Home, 36363 Detroit Rd., Avon. Interment will be private. Memorial contributions may be made to "Love A Stray".
