Brenda Faye Crawford Morin

Brenda Faye Crawford Morin, 39, of Wolfe Lane, went to walk with the Lord late Sunday evening (Feb. 23, 2003) at Holston Valley Medical Center from complications with multiple sclerosis.

She was a lifelong resident of Hawkins County and a graduate of the first class in 1981 at Volunteer Comprehensive High School.

Following graduation, Brenda was employed at Kingsport Center of Opportunity and attended Arnolds Chapel Holiness Church.

Brenda was a loving person, who loved everyone. She loved to crochet, read and enjoyed flowers and gardening.

Brenda Faye Morin was preceded in death by her grandparents, Carl and Kansas Crawford and George Roberts.

Surviving are a son, Christopher John Crawford, of the home; parents, Shack Crawford and Janie Roberts Crawford, Mount Carmel; grandmother, Allie Jane Roberts, Church Hill; sisters, Sue Salyer and husband Gary, Church Hill, and Rhonda Roberts and husband Tony, Kingsport; brothers, Mike Crawford and wife Teresa, Church Hill, Ronnie Crawford and girlfriend, Heather Birchfield, Kingsport; nieces and nephews, Tancy Salyer, Robbie Salyer, Daniel Roberts, Anthony Roberts and Nikki Crawford; along with several loving aunts, uncles, a host of cousins and friends.

Calling hours are from 5 to 8 p.m. today at Carter Trent Funeral Homes of Church Hill. Friends may also call anytime at the residence, 1405 Wolfe Lane, Mount Carmel.

Services will be conducted at 8 p.m. today in the funeral home chapel with the Rev. Ellis Crawford, the Rev. David Roy Brickey and the Rev. Ray Bledsoe officiating.

Graveside services will be conducted at 11 a.m. Thursday at Mount Mitchell Cemetery (Church Hill). Family and friends wishing to attend the graveside service are asked to meet at the funeral home at 10 a.m. to go in procession.

Pallbearers will be Christopher John Crawford, Mike Crawford, Ronnie Crawford, Gary Salyer, Tony Roberts and Robbie Salyer.

Honorary pallbearers will be Daniel Roberts and Anthony Roberts.
