Louis E. Bewersdorf, a resident of Encinitas, CA, entered eternal life on the morning of December 31, 2022. Lou was born in Chicago, Illinois, on July 5, 1951 to Herman L. Bewersdorf and Alice K. (Nemec) Bewersdorf.

Left to cherish his memory are his wife, Deirdre Maher Bewersdorf, his brother Charles H. Bewersdorf, his sister Mary Beth Bewersdorf, (Carl), as well as many long time and cherished friends and neighbors who came to know and love him over the years.

Lou was an independent small business owner and Volvo dealer in Encinitas for the clients who were lucky enough to find him. He helped keep those people mobile and safe for many years. His passion, knowledge and interest with plants, and all things botanical, were always shared so generously with others. Most people did not know that he had been classically trained on the piano as a boy and young man. His wonderful kindness and care for our many, many kitties over the years, simply made everyday better and happier.

His family and friends will dearly miss him.

A Catholic Funeral Mass Will be celebrated at 11:00 am, on Wed, February 8, 2023

at the Church of the Immaculate Conception, 2540 San Diego Avenue, San Diego, CA 92110.
