JAMES T. (CRIP) ANDERSON

NORTH WILKESBORO – James Roy (Crip) Anderson, 65, of C Street, North Wilkesboro, was found yesterday in his car in a wooded area off River Road. Wilkes County Coroner, Eugene Wood, said Anderson had been dead for several days. He said the cause of death was due to natural causes.

He was born in Wilkes County to Mr. and Mrs. Daniel Anderson. He was a carpenter.

Surviving are 11 daughters, Mrs. Francis Jenkins, Mrs. Celia Wyatt, Mrs. Patricia Hayes, Mrs. Raymnd Williams, Misses Diane, Janice, and Wanda Anderson of North Wilkesboro, Mrs. Jack White of Winston-Salem, Mrs. Walter Vannoy of North Wilkesboro, Rt. 4, Mrs. Kenneth Jones of Holland, Mich., and Mrs. Roland Minton of Grand Haven, Mich; a son, Paul Anderson of North Wilkesboro; a sister, Mrs. Myrtle Poteat of North Wilkesboro; four brothers, Pres Anderson of Moravian Falls, Olin, Henry, and Ed Anderson of North Wilkesboro.

The body is at Reins-Sturdivant Funeral Home pending arrangements.
