Marlene, age 86, passed away at Higher Call Nursing Center in Quapaw. She was the daughter of Joslin and Pearl (Keeslar) Stalford. She graduated from high school in Labette County in 1953. She married Joe L. Goforth on November 14, 1959, in Miami, Oklahoma. She was preceded in death by her husband, her parents, and her siblings, LaDonna Scott and Gerald Stalford. She is survived by her children, Alan Goforth and Toni Potts, and four grandchildren. Funeral services were held at Paul Thomas Funeral Home Chapel in Miami, Oklahoma. Burial was in Fairview Cemetery west of Melrose, Kansas.
