Loretta "Nan" Brown, 88-year-old Langley resident, passed away on Friday, December 24, 2022, at her home. She was born on January 30, 1933, in Kansas, Oklahoma to Benjamin and Roxie (Battenfield) Timmons. Loretta attended school in Ketchum, and married the love of her life, Homer Brown on June 21, 1950, in Miami. He preceded her in death on June 18, 2016. Loretta worked at many different places for a time, but she was truly a wife, mother, and grandmother to her family. She was an active member of the Otterbein Methodist Church for many years. Loretta was a great trout fisherman, she loved to go to Roaring River State Park in Cassville, Missouri, and fish for trout. She also loved to play games with her kids, grandkids, and her good friend Norma.

She was preceded in death by her husband Homer, her parents, a son, Dickie Lee Brown in 2004, daughter, Bonnie Sue Kays in 2007, seven siblings, grandson, Cameron Clark in 2022, and a son in law Dee Bruce in 2018.

The family includes her son, John Brown, daughters, Diana Bruce, Lora Stiles, and husband Kenny all of Langley, eleven grandchildren, twelve great-grandchildren, and three great-great-grandchildren.
