Mary Ellen Sanderson Ingerson of Valdosta Ga. passed away on October 30, 2009, after a short illness. She was born December 3, 1921, in Miami, Missouri. Preceding her in death are her parents, Martha Frakes and Cyril Sanderson; two brothers, Sonny Sanderson of Lenexa, Kan., and Delbert Sanderson of San Diego, Calif.; sister Sue Harrah of Greeley, Colo.; and her best friend, Max. She is survived by nine children, Thomas Fredrick Theodore Ingerson and wife, Joyce of Sierra Vista, Ariz., Lewis Ray Ingerson and wife, Rosemary of Lawson, Mo., Archie William Ingerson and wife, Cheryl of Republic, Mo., Martha Ingerson Renfro and husband, Charles of Valdosta, Ga., Edward Quenton Ingerson of Repuplic, Mo., Sarah Lou Ingerson of Valdosta, Ga., Michael Anthony Ingerson of Lawson, Mo., Evelyn Sue Ingerson Huff of Valdosta, Ga., and Sally Anne Ingerson Hestle and husband, Thomas of Pensacola, Fla.; 22 grandchildren, 14 great-grandchildren and nine great-great-grandchildren; 14 nieces and nephews; and many friends and neighbors. Mary was a retired factory worker and homemaker.

She had a deep love of flowers and her pets, she also enjoyed needlework. She was proud of her children and grand-children. Those of us who knew her would describe her as a determined and tenacious lady with a big heart who cared for every one she knew. She will be greatly missed. In lieu of flowers, donations to charities are requested.

After cremation, services will be November 14, at 1 p.m., in the Ingerson Cemetery, Lawson, Mo. Condolences may be sent to 10563 SE 226th Street, Lawson, MO 64062.
