Mrs. Vera P. Jewett, 76, died Wednesday, Dec. 30, 1998, at University Hospital.
The funeral will be at 3 p.m. today at Elliott Sons Funeral Home, Telfair Street, with the Rev. K.C. Stevens officiating. Burial will be in Hillcrest Memorial Park.
Mrs. Jewett, a native of Aiken County, was a homemaker and had retired from Fine Products Corp. of Augusta. She was a member of Woodlawn Baptist Church.
Survivors include two sons, Neal Jewett, Augusta, and Robert ''Bobby'' Jewett, Martinez; a daughter, Margaret Jewett, Augusta; two brothers, S.D. Pearson, Warrenton, Ga., and Vernon Pearson, Augusta; a sister, Eva Powell, Augusta; and two grandchildren and one great-grandchild.
Pallbearers will be Ren Hatfield, Andy Edmunds, Kenny Phillips, Mike Phillips, Charles Clifford and Mark Gay.
