MRS. CARRIE LEE WIGGINS ADAMS (widow of the late Sam Adams) a native and lifelong resident of Magazine, Ala., passed at her late residence Saturday night, October 13, 1962, at 10:45 p.m. She was a member of the Union Baptist Church, Plateau, Ala. She is survived by one devoted sister, Mrs. Diccie I. Colley; two aunts, Mrs. Luvenia Jackson and Mrs. Milissa Keeby of Magazine, Ala.; one uncle, Mr. William Keeby of Plateau, Ala.; one brother-in-law, Mr. Eugene Colley Sr. of Plateau, Ala.; two nieces, Mrs. Patrience C. White of Mobile; Mrs. Muiri C. Davis of Fort Lauderdale, Fla.; three nephews, Mr. Eugene Colley, Jr. and Mr. J.H. White of Mobile, Ala.; Mr. Hamp Davis of Fort Lauderdale, Fla.; five great nieces and nephews, Eugene Colley III, Hubert Colley, Iverta N. Davis, Yulunder De Carol White of Mobile, Ala.; Hamp E. Davis of Fort Lauderdale, Fla.; 27 cousins; a devoted friend, Mr. Eljiah Gray of Magazine, Ala., and a host of other relatives and friends.

Friends may view her remains at her late residence Wednesday evening Oct. 17, 1962, from 6 p.m. to funeral hour at 1 p.m. from the residence and 1:30 at the Union Baptist Church, Plateau, Ala., with the Rev. H.H. Smith officiating minister and pastor. Hodges Funeral Chapel, directing (successors to Smith and Gaston) Taylor H. Hodge Sr. president. Interment will follow in the Plateau Cemetery.
