When he arrived in Ogdensburg, he was stricken at the breakfast table. He had been employed as a carpenter and builder by E R Wiggin in Springfield, VT.
He married Anna Marie Hoffman on September 10, 1905.
Surviving is his wife of White Plains, NY; daughter Mrs Lloyd Puffer of Ogdensburg, NY; two sons Harvey H Blanchard of Saxtons River, VT and Harry L Blanchard of White Plains, NY; sister Sadie M Blanchard of Claremont, NH; and three grandchildren.
Burial is in Saxtons River cemetery.
