Miss Lizzie McCaw Dead.
Miss Lizzie McCaw, a pioneer settler of Lyon County, died Tuesday evening at 10 o'clock at her home in Americus, following a month's illness. Miss McCaw fell a month ago and broke her hip. She never recovered from the injury. Miss McCaw came to Lyon County in the fifties with her parents, and has lived in the county since then. She is survived by a sister, Mrs. Millie Anderson, and a brother, John McCaw, of Western Kansas.

Funeral services for Miss Lizzie McCaw, who died at her home in Americus Tuesday night, were held in the United Presbyterian Church at Americus, Thursday afternoon at 2:30 o'clock. Rev. C. H. Mitchell, pastor of the church, conducted the services. Mrs. C. A. Elliott and Mrs. H. C. Anderson sang several duets, accompanied by Miss Lizzie Seegar. The pallbearers were J. W. Anderson, W. H. Edmiston, J. M. Elliott, Phillip Ernst, S. S. Kerr, and J. C. Irvine. Interment was made in the Americus Cemetery.
