M. H. Spivey married Mattie Martha Liverman Kimbrough the widow of Henry C. Kimbrough on September 5, 1895 in Bosque County, Texas. Merciamon had been married before and had children. I have heard that the graves of M. H. and daughter, Jewell Spivey were the first grave in the Fairview Cemetery (they are buried in the same grave, or so I was told by my grandmother (granddaughter of Mattie Martha Liverman Kimbrough Spivey). NOTE: Mattie Martha was buried in the Whitney Memorial Cemetery, in Whitney, Hill County, Texas with her first husband, Henry C. Kimbrough.
