Raymond "Sonny" Bartosh, age 77, of Elm Mott, passed away Saturday evening, December 24, 2022, at his residence.

Funeral Service will be held 10:00 a.m. Saturday, December 31, 2022 at Aderhold Funeral Home Chapel in West, with Rev. James Jackson officiating. Burial will follow at St. Mary's Cemetery. The family will receive visitors from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. Friday evening at the funeral home.

Sonny was born July 2, 1945 in Dallas, the son of the late Albin and Regina (Marek) Bartosh. He attended schools in West. On October 17, 1981 he was united in marriage to Betty Cox in West. Sonny was a member and former President of the West Athletic Booster Club and continued to be a faithful Trojan fan of all West sports. He was a letter carrier for the United States Post Office in Waco for 33 years. Prior to that he worked in quality control for General Dynamics and worked at Time Manufacturing. Sonny enjoyed traveling, going on cruises, camping, fishing, and taking road trips to many interesting places. He loved spending time with his family, especially the many memorable cruises.

Survivors include his beloved wife of 41 years, Betty Bartosh of Elm Mott; his children, Jeremy Campbell and wife Jennifer of Elm Mott and Mandy Jares and husband David of West; a sister, Johanna Glaesmann and husband Gary of West; nine grandchildren, Courtney Bell and husband Melvin, Donnie Wake III and wife Lauren, Allison Jares, Meagan Fuller and husband Tyson, Connor Wake, Hannah Campbell and fiance Gabriel, Zander Wake and fiance Jen, Grady Stone and wife Macy, and Dustin Birdwell; ten great grandchildren, Dayvin, Jordan, Grayson, Chloe, Sam, Lydian, Jack, Matthias, Angel, and Spencer; and many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

Pallbearers are Donnie Wake III, Connor Wake, Zander Wake, Brandon Glaesmann, Blake Glaesmann, and Dylan Alligood.
