B. Marie Roberts, 94, Anderson, passed away Feb. 18, 2008, at Monticello House after an extended illness.
She was born Dec. 14, 1913, in Vincennes, the daughter of John and Eva (Umbenhower) . She was a 1932 graduate of Anderson High School and lived in Anderson most all of her life. She retired in 1978 from Indiana Gas Co. after 28 years.
She was a member of East Lynn Christian Church, Order of Eastern Star 604, Madison County Ladies Shrine Club and Victoria Guild of Saint John's Medical Center.
She is survived by her daughter, Patricia K. (husband, Jerry) Coppock of Anderson; three grandchildren, Tim (wife, Becky) Coppock, Anthony "Tony" (wife, Chris) Coppock and Tamra Grant; nine great-grandchildren, Anthony M. (wife, Jennifer) Coppock, Daniel (wife, Courtney) Coppock, Andrea (husband, Jeff) Stewart, Amy Coppock, Jason (wife, Johanna) Coppock, Brad Coppock, Amanda Coppock, Kyle Grant (fiancé, Jill Stout) and Erica Grant; and four great-great-grandchildren, Anthony R. Coppock, Allison Coppock, Peyton Stewart and Austin Grant.She was preceded in death by her husband, Rex E. Roberts in 1995.
Services will be conducted at 10 a.m. Friday at Brown-Butz-Diedring Funeral Home. Burial will be in Anderson Memorial Park Cemetery
