Marion Smith, eighty-two years of age, passed away on July 30, 1999 at Lafayette General Medical Center.
A native of Venice Beach, she had been a resident of Lafayette since 1950. She was a member of the Order of the Eastern Star and the Amarnath.
She is survived by four sons, Thomas Graham Christian, Robert James Smith, Allen Joseph Smith Jr, and Charles David Smith; four grandchildren, Dawn, Tommy, David, and Jordan; and four great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Charles Porter and Olive Forward Graham; her husband, Allen Joseph Smith Sr; three brothers and two sisters.
