Larry D. Boundy, 69, of Fowler, died at 3:15 a.m. Tuesday, Oct. 10, 2006, at St. Elizabeth Medical Center.

Born Aug. 9, 1937, to the late Walter and Lillian Eppard Boundy, he lived most of his childhood in Anderson and was a 1955 graduate of Anderson High School.

He enlisted in the Air Force and served from 1956 to 1962.

His marriage was to Gwen Talley on June 1, 1963, in Anderson. She died March 28, 1994. Mr. Boundy lived in Anderson until moving to Fowler in 1974.

He was an active member of the Plumber and Pipefitters Local Union 157 for 33 years, retiring in 1999.

He was a member of the Fowler American Legion Post 57 and served as commander in 1980. He joined AMVETS Post 102 in 2002 and currently held the position of second vice commander.

Mr. Boundy enjoyed boating, fishing, playing cards, golfing and woodworking.

Surviving are two daughters, Rhonda Krol (husband: Dave)and Rochelle Lockwood (husband: Gary, "Bo") and grandchildren, Heather, Gary, Josh, Ashley, Andrew, Davey and Katey.

He enjoyed spending time with his family and friends.
