Mr. Weldon Allen Walker, age 69 formerly of Union and husband of Sharon Walker passed away Monday December 12, 2022 at Oconee Memorial Hospital.

Mr. Walker was born in Union, January 1, 1953 a son of the late Acy and Evelyn Mowdy Walker. He attended Union High school and worked construction throughout South Carolina, North Carolina and Georgia until his retirement in 2018. He had a great passion to sing and preach the gospel of Jesus Christ throughout for people to hear and sing along. He was a member of Lakeview Baptist Church in Anderson.

Mr. Walker is survived by his wife Sharon, two sons Kerry Walker and wife Melanie of Spartanburg and Brad Walker of Union. Two daughters, Gina Walker Powers and husband Kevin of Pacolet and Brenda Sinclair and husband Harold of Union. He is also survived by Sharon's children Mary Miller and Rebecca Miller of Townville numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren.
He was predeceased by a brother Mark "Ankie" Walker.
A memorial service for family and friends in Union will be held on January 1, 2023 at Ottaray Baptist Church at 2 - 4PM.
