She was born about 1891 at Delaney, Arkansas, the daughter of James Edward and Sarah Florence (Hauptman) Buxton.
She and James Brookshire Curd were married March 4, 1914 in Franklin County, Arkansas.
Survivors include her mother; her husband, James; a three year old daughter, Helen; an 11 month old son, James Harvey; and two brothers, Ernest Edward Buxton and Frances Wallace Buxton.
Burial is on the Curd family farm.
