Shirley E. Breighner, 89, of Hanover, PA, entered God's eternal care Monday, December 19, 2022, at Genesis Gettysburg Center.
Born December 29, 1932, in Hanover, PA, she was the daughter of the late Claude E. and Pauline M. (Neiderer) Shildt. Shirley was the loving wife of the late Lewis R. Breighner with whom she shared 59 years of marriage until his passing on February 12, 2009.
Shirley was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church, Hanover, PA.
Shirley is survived by her daughters, Janice Klunk of Thomasville, PA, Joan Wildasin and husband Tim, Bonita Barnhart and husband Randy, and Julie Fuhrman all of Hanover, PA, 7 grandchildren, 15 great grandchildren, I great great granddaughter, and one sister, Carolyn Voorhees of Lake City, FL. She was preceded in death by one daughter, Deborah McNulty in 2000, and three sons—in-law, Rick McNulty, Thomas Senft, and Jeff Fuhrman.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held 1:00 PM, Monday, December 26, 2022, at St. Joseph Catholic Church, 5055 Grandview Road, Hanover, PA, with Msgr. James Lyons as celebrant. Burial will be in St. Vincent Catholic Church Cemetery, Hanover, PA.
