Mr. Lee Roy Marable, age 86, of Roxboro, NC, departed this life Saturday, December 10, 2022 at Roxboro Nursing & Rehabilitation Center.
He was born October 6, 1936 to the late Nathaniel Thorpe and Willie Marable Sapp, was a member of Shady Hill Baptist Church and a Veteran of the U.S. Army.
In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by four brothers: Bonnie Wayne Thorpe, Nathaniel Thorpe, Jr., Earl Vennoy Thorpe and Dennis Thorpe; and three sisters: Rosalind W. Blackwell, V. Sherrill Thorpe and Olivia Thorpe.
