Henry Herbert Butcher was a civilian casualty of WW2.
Henry, a Fireman with the A.F.S. was the son of Henry George and Blanche Butcher (nee Bicknell) of Coteford Street, Tooting, and was the husband of Dorodea Maria Butcher (nee Grassi) of Langroyd Road.
Sadly Henry perished as a result of an enemy air attack while on duty at the Cavendish Road school where the local AFS members were stationed. He was laid to rest at STREATHAM CEMETERY Aged 28.
