Lillie C. (Hunzeker) Schmidt, 71, of North Tonawanda, died suddenly on Sunday, Jan. 30 in DeGraff Memorial Hospital.

Mrs. Schmidt was a member of the American Legion Wheatfield Post #1451, Auxiliary and the Weekenders Camping Club. She was the wife of the late H. Clifford Serr and the late Robert G. Schmidt.

She was the mother of Gerald Serr, Orlando, Florida, Judith Newman of Hagerstown, Maryland, Janet Cox, also of Orlando, Florida, Elaine Schmidt of Buffalo, New York, Lorraine Piskorowski of North Tonawanda, Carol Lowmaster of Punxsutawney, Pennsylvania and William Schmidt of Corfu, New York.

She is also survived by thirteen grandchildren and one great grandchild, the sister of Albert Hunzeker, Elizabeth Brening, Lenora Kauk, Robert Hunzeker and Elmer Hunzeker. Also survived by many nieces and nephews.
