PEKIN ~ Samuel A. Connett, 80, of 1000 S. third St. died Saturday at Pekin Public Hospital. He had been a patient three days and ill three years.
He was taken to the Preston Funeral Home. Arrangements are incomplete.
He was born Feb. 16, 1878, in Pekin, a son of FraZee and Kittie Buchanan Connett. He married Junie Cox who preceded him in death.
Surviving are a brother, Charles, Pekin; three sisters, Mrs. Kittie Ayres, San Jose; Mrs. Charlott Imig, Mrs Mary Marten, Pekin; two brothers and four sisters preceded him in death.
