Donald D. Chubb, 81, of Selinsgrove, entered eternal rest on Wednesday, December 14, 2022, at Geisinger Medical Center in Danville. He was born at home on July 4, 1941, in Juniata County, a son of the late Clinton H. and Ruth V. (Ryan) Chubb. On August 4, 1961, he married his sweetheart Lottie E. (Goodling) Chubb. They shared 61 years of marriage.
In earlier years, Donald was self-employed as a mechanic and sold cars. He went on to work in construction in 1978 and later was employed as a highway equipment operator.
Donald enjoyed coin collecting and attending auctions.
In addition to his loving wife Lottie, Donald is survived by a son Kenneth E. Chubb and his wife Denise M.; a daughter Patricia Ann Chubb; a grandson Lee A. Chubb and his wife Stacy L.; step-grandchildren Justine M. Gabner and Kenneth A. Gabner, Jr.; a great-grandson Mason L. Chubb; a great-granddaughter Avary K. Chubb; a step great-grandson Liam A. Gabner; and several nieces and nephews.
He is preceded in death by his parents; a brother James Chubb; and a sister Patricia Ann Chubb.
A viewing will be held on Tuesday, December 20, 2022, from 10:00 a.m. until the time of the funeral service at 11:00 a.m. at St. Peter's Community Church, Zeiders Road, Millerstown, PA 17062 with Pastor Brittin Stimeling and Pastor Jonathan Arnold officiating.
Interment will immediately follow in the adjoining church cemetery at St Peter's Cemetery.
