PEKIN ~ Mrs. Minnie Brumns, 81, died at 1:15 p.m. Saturday at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Mary Shryock, 601 South Second street. She was born in Germany and came to this country at an early age. Her marriage was to George F. Brumns and his death occurred in Pekin March 30, 1914.
Mrs. Brumns has resided in Pekin and vicinity for many years and was a member of Grace Methodist church. She is survived the the following children: Mrs. Mary Shryock and Jerry M. Brumns, Pekin; Mrs. Lena Anthony and Jacob F. Brumns, Peoria; Mrs. Anna Smith, Delavan. Also two sisters, Mrs. Catherine Behrens, Belden, Neb., and Mrs. Mary Woll, San Jose.
