Ina Idabelle Brittain, 90, of Doniphan, MO departed this life on Wednesday, December 14th, 2022, in Jonesboro, AR. Mrs. Brittain was born on November 22, 1932, in Warm Springs, AR to Sheard and Leona Courtwright Finch. She married Alfred (Sam) Brittain on June 18, 1952, in Pocahontas AR. Together, they owned and operated Brittain's Dry Cleaners here in Doniphan.

Mrs. Brittain was a loving woman who enjoyed going to yard sales, gardening, sewing, visiting with her family, and watching the St. Louis Cardinals. She was a devoted Christian and a member of Current River Baptist Church. Ina loved sharing the gospel.

Mrs. Brittain is preceded in death by her husband Al, her parents, and two sisters: Pauline Redus and Ledean Vance.

Surviving are her two children, Sandy (James) Pennington of Hot Springs, AR and Barry (Rhonda) Brittain of Doniphan, MO; sisters Evelyn Lundry of Pocahontas, AR; Irene Miller of Pocahontas, AR; and Darlene Moore of Jonesboro, AR; five grandchildren, Chris (Stacy) Pennington, Kevin Brittain, Scotty (Blair) Pennington, Teri (Joe) Howard, and Kim (Matt) Sandifer; and 16 great grandchildren.

Visitation for Mrs. Brittain will be held at 12:30 PM on Saturday, December 17th, 2022, at Edwards Funeral Home with the service to follow at 2 PM. Rev. Delbert McLaughlin of Current River Baptist Church will be officiating. Burial will take place after the service in the Doniphan City Cemetery.
