Joseph Bernam "J.B." Grantham, 95, of Enigma died Wednesday, December 29, 2010, at Tift Regional Medical Center. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p .m. on Saturday, January 1, 2011 at New River Holiness Church in Berrien County. Rev. G Lee will officiate with burial to follow in Vickers Church Cemetery in Berrien County.
Mr. Grantham was born on January 14, 1915 in Bleckley County and was the son of Coley Grantham and Maggie Leila Arnold Grantham, both deceased. He was also preceded in death by his wife, Gladys Virginia Parker Grantham; two sisters, Mary Lee Grantham Allen and Martha Grantham Itson; and two brothers, Gus Grantham and Jim Grantham. He was a retired farmer and attended New River Holiness Church. Mr. Grantham was well-known in the community with many friends and he loved people. He was a kind and gentle man whose word was his bond.
