Audie Ina Green was born Aug 14,1914 in Caddo,Bryan,Oklahoma,her father William Jacob Green was 34 and her mother Ina Freeman Green was 29 she was the 7th child of one dozen.On Aug 14,1930 the day my Mom turned 16(said she was 18) she married my father Roy Lee Melson together they had 5 children.Billy Wayne Melson,Wyvonia Irene Melson Randolph Jones,Shirley Ann Melson Oroumieh,Ronny Lee Melson and Hope Darlene Melson Larson.In the 1940's they moved to the Central Valley of California,1st Kern and Tulare Co,2nd Rural Fresno County where she packed grapes and was floor lady at Leonard Brothers (also where my Dad worked) ,3rd the small city of Sanger where she also packed grapes and tree fruit.My Mother liked to sew, was a good cook,came from a good Christian up bringing (all stayed in Oklahoma and Texas but her) ,was the most loving Mother,Grandmother,G Grandmother.Never will her voice or laughter be forgotten.She was truly loved.
