SUSAN LORI DENSON SHIRLEY, 35, of Comanche, Okla., died Tuesday, 18 August 1998, at M.D. Anderson Hospital in Houston, Texas. Graveside services were Saturday in the New Velma Cemetery, with Randy Southerland officiating. Arrangements were under the direction of Carter-Smart Funeral Home in Duncan.
Mrs. Shirley was born 7 September 1962 in Duncan, Okla. She was raised in Velma, and on 7 December 1996 she married Kim Shirley in Eureka Springs, Ark.
Survivors include her husband of the home; a step-daughter, Jennifer Witt; her mother, Virginia Denson of Duncan; her father and step-mother, James and Deanie Denson of Eunice, La.; an adopted brother, Jimmy Denson; a half-sister, Sammie Copeland; and two grandchildren, Kayla and Rachel Witt.
