A lifelong Texan, Lurline was born Feb. 10, 1915, in Opelousas, La. She was the first of three daughters born to Gaddis Stegall and Stella Frame and was a longtime resident of Fort Worth and Azle.
She was a beloved mother, grandmother and great-grandmother who instilled her Christian faith and love of God into all of her family. She loved to fellowship at the Community Bible Church in Azle.
She was preceded in death by her husband of 45 years, Andrew J. Farris; and later, her husband of 24 years, Elmo Worlow. She was also preceded in death by her sisters, Iris Strictland, Ginger Williamson; and a son, Tommy Farris.
The family would like to express a special thank you to the wonderful staff of Alterra Sterling House and Vitas Hospice for the care and love they gave Lurline.
Survivors: Children, Daisy Choate of Arizona, William Farris and wife, Shirley, of Weatherford, Linda Lucas and husband, Pete, of Fort Worth, and Stella Novotny and husband, Rudy, of Montgomery; and numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
