FOR MARCELINE MAN WHO DIES JUNE 20
Funeral services for James P. Anspach were Thursday afternoon at the McLaughlin Chapel. Burial was in Mt. Olivet. Nephews of Mr. Anspach were pallbearers.
Mr. Anspach died June 29 at his home in Marceline. He was the son of Peter and Lydia Katherine (McClain) Anspach and was born Jan. 24, 1883, near Hart. He and Miss Anna Craigg were married Jan. 26, 1902. Eight children were born, one of whom, a son, died in 1923.
Besides his widow, he leaves seven children, Charles of Hart, Jewell and John of Sumner, Hubert of Dean Lake, Mrs. Minnie Wright of Triplett, Mrs. Carrie White of Marceline, and Mrs. Mariam Parker of San Pablo, California; a brother, David Anspach of Hart; two sisters, Mrs. Elsie Rogers of Hart and Mrs. Nora Whisenand of New Boston; 26 grandchildren, 12 great-grandchildren, seven nieces, four nephews; other relatives and a host of friends.
