John Albon was a service casualty of WW1

John was born in Stotfold Bedfordshire the son of Samuel and Sarah Albon He was a brother to George and sisters Elizabeth and Louisa.

In 1905 John married Agnes Emma Martin in St.Pancras and they had three children Lilian Gladys, Frances Elizabeth and Doris Margaret Albon. Giving his trade as a carpenter when he attested on the 18th October 1914, John served his country as Sapper 54784 Royal Engineers 109th Coy. Railway Troops

John was laid to rest at St.Pancras cemetery on the 12th April 1921 in a public grave with 21 other occupants. At the time of his passing, John was 45 years of age.
