Rites Friday for PFC Willcockson

Funeral services for Pfc Kenneth Aubrey Willcockson Route 1, will be held 2:30 Friday in Shiloh Methodist Church. Willcockson's body will arrive in Jonesboro from it's overseas grave Thursday.
Willcockson was killed in Belgium during the Battle of the Bulge December 17, 1944, while serving with the 99th infantry Division, Third Army. He was 30 years old.
Wilcockson entered the Army in April 1943. He took his basic training at Camp Robinson and then was transferred to Camp Maxey, Texas before going overseas in October 1944.
He was a graduate of Jonesboro High School.
Wilcockson is survived by his wife, Mrs. Ella Mae Collier Wilcockson, 2 sons Kenneth Jr and Jimmy and one step-son Billy Joe Wilcockson. His Parents Mr. and Mrs. Avery Wilcockson of Jonesboro, a brother Joe and a sister Lafon Wilcockson.

Funeral services will be conducted by Rev. Billy Odon assisted by Rev T. Richard Reed, Burial will be in Shiloh Cemetery.
Funeral arrangements were made by the Farmers Union Funeral Home.
