Iris Geraldine Newkirk, of Desloge, passed away on Saturday, December 16, 2006, at the age of 55 years.

She was born on, August 15, 1951, in St. Louis, the daughter of John Keith of Doe Run and Geraldine Keith Bowen of Farmington.

She was preceded in death by two daughters, Tammy Keith and Arlene Newkirk, a grandson, Cody Camphell, and a brother, Kenneth Raymond Keith.

She is survived by, her parents, three sons, James and Scott Crump, of Doe Run, and Carl Newkirk of Hillsboro, two brothers, Arlin Keith, and wife, Sally of Fredericktown, and Denny Keith, and wife, Mary of Belleview, MO. Several nieces, nephews, and other relatives, and friends also survive.

The family will receive friends at Cozean Memorial Chapel from 5 to 9 p.m. on Monday, December 18, 2006.

Visitation will resume at 7:30 a.m. on Tuesday; with a funeral service to be held at 11 a.m. with the Rev. Jeff Combs officiating.

Burial will follow at Knob Lick Cemetery.

Memorials may be directed to the family.
