Mrs. Jessie R. Haynes-Ewing, 59, Rockmart, died Sunday, March 5, 2006. Services were held at 11 a.m. Saturday, March 11 in the Chapel of West Cobb Funeral Home. Interment was in Polk Memory Gardens. Mrs. Ewing was formerly employed at the U.C.L.A. Medical Center where she was a nurse. She attended Trinity Chapel Church of God in Powder Springs. Surviving are her husband Melvin Ewing, Rockmart; children, Judy Haynes, Palmdale, CA; Warren Haynes, Los Angeles, CA; Kimbery Speers, Los Angeles, CA and Melvin Ewing, Jr of MS; siblings, Mary Germany, Aileen Germany, Richard Germany, Leroy Germany, Isaac Germany and Harvey Germany, all of Shreveport, LA and Joseph Germany of Los Angeles, CA and one grandchild. West Cobb Funeral Home, Marietta, was in charge of the funeral arrangements.
