Walter Chippendale, 79, 130 S. Main St., Camden, formerly of 227 Progress Ave., died Sunday in Fort Hamilton-Hughes Hospital following an extended illness. He was born in 1903 in Somers Twp., Preble County, a son of Albert and Mary Peters Chippendale. He attended the Camden public schools and was graduated from Technical Engineering School in Detroit. His wife, Addie Armstrong, preceded him in death in 1968. They were married in 1927 he married Bessie Newton Coon in 1971.
He leaves the wife, Bessie; two sisters, Mrs. Frank (Ruth) Borgwardt, Eaton, and Mrs. Mark (Grace) Sheley, Middletown.
Services will be Thursday at 2 p. m. in the R. C. Nein and Sons Funeral Home, Camden. Burial in Fairmount Cemetery, Camden with visitation Wednesday 7-9 pm.
