Hartman
Harold Lester, age 57, of 2900 Prairie College St. SW Canton died Saturday afternoon in Hanover House Nursing Home after a long illness.
Born in Greene, Ohio; he had lived most of his life in Canton. Retired employee of the Burger Division of Republic Steel.
Survived by his wife, Rosemary Burdene Hartman. Three daughters, Letha, Verna and Nadine Hartman, all of the home. Two sons, Larry and Russell Hartman both of the home. Other children include Sandra Hartman and Rev. Dennis Hartman both of Canton; Roger Hartman of Akron; Phyllis Limberg of Akron. Two step-children, Teresa Nicholas of Canton and Stephen Reilly of Illinois; 8 grandchildren. His mother, Mrs. Verna Hartman of Warren; 4 sisters, Maxine Nidy of Alliance; Irene St. Claire of Levittsburg, Ohio; Edith Moore of Southington, Ohio; and Esther Bittner of Mesa, Arizona. One brother, Russell Hartman of Akron.
Memorial services will be Saturday July 15, at 1:30 p.m. in the Bethel Baptist Church located at 3309 Morris Ave. N.E. with Rev. Henry Dettweiler officiating.
The body was donated to Case Western Reserve Medical School.
