The little 18 months old son of Mr. and Mrs. Geo. Bahnmaier, who live near Lecompton, was burned to death Monday. It seems that Mr. Bahnmaier went into the field to burn grass and the child followed him. The little one's presence in the field was not discovered by his parents until Mrs. B. missed him from the house and went in search of him. She found the child dead, he having been burned in a horrible manner. The burial took place in the Stull cemetery Tuesday.
