Bryan W. "Bucket" Brennan, age 94, of Cantrall, passed away on December 10, 2022 at Memorial Medical Center in Springfield.

He was born July 27, 1928 in Lincoln, Illinois, the son of Bryan B. and Belle (Shockey) Brennan.

Bryan married Patricia Wasilewski on June 29, 1957. She preceded him in death on June 11, 2002.

Mourning his passing is his son Bryan J. (wife, Jana) Brennan; grandchildren, Aidan and Erin Brennan; and several nieces and nephews.

He is also preceded in death by four brothers and one sister.

Bryan graduated from Elkhart High School.

He worked for Eaton Corporation in Lincoln, Illinois for most of his life.

Bryan was a member of Holy Family Catholic Church. He enjoyed wood-working.

Bryan served for the U.S. Army and was drafted during the Korean War.

Visitation for Bryan will be held Friday, December 16, 2022 from 4:00 until 7:00 PM at Mott & Henning Funeral Home in Athens. Funeral mass will be held on Saturday, December 17, 2022 at 10:00 AM at Holy Family Church in Athens, Illinois.

Burial will be at Calvary Cemetery, Springfield.

Memorial contributions can be made to the Cantrall Community Park.
