Michael Stubbs, 60, of Arkansas City, died Tuesday morning, March 20, 2007, at the South Central Kansas Medical Center in Arkansas City, Kansas. Funeral Services will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday, March 24, 2007, at the Hawks Funeral Home in Arkansas City. The Rev. Gale Rider will officiate. Interment will be in the Parker Cemetery. No visitation is scheduled at the family's request.

Michael was born July 10, 1946, in Wichita, the son of Millard A. and Ida Lucille Carter Stubbs. Michael worked in the meat packing industry his whole life and also worked for Kan-Pak.

Survivors include his wife; Donna Stubbs, of Arkansas City; three daughters, Juli Chisholm, Melissa Anthony and husband, Terry and Shawnda Pudden, all of Arkansas City; eight grandchildren; and three great grandchildren; two brothers, Robert Stubbs, of Wichita, Jack R. Stubbs, of Las Vegas, Nev.; two sisters, Patricia Ireland and Sharon King, both of Wichita. He was preceded in death by his parents; and two brothers, Jimmy Stubbs and William Stubbs.
