Died, at the home of his parents, Mr. and Mrs. W. H. Staley, in Petersburg, Wednesday morning, Nov. 13, 1895, Ralph Staley, aged 22 years and 4 months. The deceased was born and reared in this city, and leaves many warm friends here who will regret his death. He had been ill for a long time past, being a sufferer form Bright's disease. Owing to his strong constitution he, however, was able to be about until the past five weeks. Two weeks ago he took to his bed and then sank rapidly. He resided in this city until a few months ago, when he moved to Petersburg with his parents.

He is survived by his parents, Mr. and Mrs. W. H. Staley, two brothers, Harry and Frank, and four sisters, Mrs. Cornelius F. Vandeventer and Mrs. Jennie Anderson, of this city, Mrs. S. M. Clark, of Petersburg, and Mrs. C. L. Post, of St. Louis.

The funeral will occur at the family residence. The remains will be shipped to this city this morning over the C. P. & St. L. line and will be taken to Oak Ridge cemetery.
